Last night we all stayed at Tyler and Marcies. There were about 12 or 15 of us, sleeping on the floor, on the couches, where ever there was free space, strewn all over the apartment. It was the Outland treetplanter Christmas reunion last night, which, I'm not sure, but probably the idea was to make us all want to come back and work for this company another season. It's good to meet up and get wasted with these people in the middle of December.

Empty House

This morning I slept in a friend's bed who was out of town, and by the time I woke up, everyone in the house had already up and gone to work. I remember hearing them trying to get out through the frozen-shut front door an hour or so before I decided to get up.
Today will be one of the last couple of days in Montreal before we leave for the holidays, and there are at least one or two things I want to get done before then. It's nearly 2 o'clock in the afternoon, the sun is bright. It'd be good to accomplish something.

The Conceptual Moment....

So this idea just came to me about 15 minutes ago as I sat here in the girls' basement with my friend Joe, at 3:45 in the morning. I shouldn't neglect giving some credit to him for dreaming up part of this. It might be interesting if it becomes at least a semi-regular blog.
The plan is to spend a few minutes, every once in a while, (maybe daily, maybe not) producing and immediately posting to this blog, a panorama of the scene around me. The three necessary factors of production for these panoramas will be: 1) My camera; 2) my computer; and 3) an internet connection; all of which I'll need on hand at the time. All three steps are to be completed in immediate succession of one another. In publishing on the spot, I am curious to see if the images, coupled with a paragraph or two, will serve to convey more of a spatial and temporal connection to those who view them.

To view the image in larger format, I'll be posting the Flickr link
